What is the new Data Protection Regulation?
It is a new European regulation. This Regulation unifies criteria for confidentiality and processing of personal data at a community level and adapts its management to new digital environments, such as the Internet and mobile applications. In this way, you will have more control over your data.
When will the new regulation be applicable?
The European Union approved the Regulation in 2016. Member States must apply it from May 25, 2018.
What changes will this mean for you?
The European regulations add new rights to those included in the current Spanish regulations. Principles that we will apply to your personal information
In the processing of your personal data, we will apply the following principles that comply with the requirements of the new European data protection regulation:
- Principle of legality, loyalty and transparency: We will always require your consent for the processing of your personal data for one or more specific purposes that we will inform you about in advance with absolute transparency.
- Principle of data minimization: We will only request data that is strictly necessary in relation to the purposes for which we require it. The minimum possible.

How we use your data

NOTICE OF PERSONAL DATA VIOLATION OR SECURITY BREACHES.
A personal data breach involves a breach of the security of PRODDIGIA’s information systems that causes or may cause the destruction, alteration, loss, unauthorized disclosure or access, whether accidental or not, to personal data transmitted, stored or processed in connection with the provision of our services. In the event that the personal data that we store and/or process at PRODDIGIA is compromised in any way, we will promptly notify those affected, and in accordance with the provisions of article 33 of the GDPR
DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS
Users may send a written communication to the registered office of PRODDIGIA or to the email address indicated in the heading of this Legal Notice, including in both cases a photocopy of their ID or other similar identification document, to request the exercise of the following rights:
- Right to request access to personal data: You may ask us if we are processing your data;
- Right to request rectification (if incorrect) or deletion (when personal data is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed).
- Right to request limitation or cancellation of processing, in which case we will only retain it for the exercise or defence of claims;
- Right to object to processing: We will stop processing the data in the manner you indicate, unless for compelling legitimate reasons or the exercise or defense of possible claims we have to continue processing them;
- Right to data portability: If you want your data to be processed by another company, we will facilitate the portability of your data to any other company you indicate to us in a structured, intelligible and automated format.
These rights are very personal and will be exercised by the interested party, without any other limitations than those provided for by the applicable legislation. However, the legal representative of the interested user may act when the latter is incapacitated or under the age of majority, which makes it impossible for him/her to personally exercise his/her rights. The exercise of his/her rights will be made effective by the Data Controller within thirty days of receipt of the request. In the event that the Data Controller considers that it is not appropriate to access the request, he/she will inform the user with reasons and within the period indicated in this section. In cases where, although the cancellation of the data is appropriate, its physical extinction is not possible, either for technical reasons or due to the computer support used, we will proceed to block the data in order to prevent its use, until its complete elimination from the information systems.

SOCIAL NETWORKS
Social Networks are part of the daily life of many Internet users, and for them we have created different profiles of our company on them.
PRODDIGIA informs that through its social networks events, contests, events, programs or any other type of advertising information about the activities it carries out will be published, the user accepting to be the recipient of said information by the mere fact of becoming our “friend” or “follower” on the corresponding social network.
All users have the opportunity to join the pages or groups that we have on different social networks and to stop receiving this information on their social network profiles, they must stop following PRODDIGIA on them.
However, you must bear in mind that to register on a social network, a user must accept the contractual relationship in the environment of the corresponding social network, and be in agreement with its Privacy policies, so we recommend that you carefully read its conditions of use and privacy policies, as well as make sure to configure your preferences regarding the treatment of data.
COLLECTION OF DATA FROM MINORS
PRODDIGIA does not authorize minors under 14 years of age to provide their personal data, either by filling out web forms enabled for requesting services, contact forms, or by sending emails. If we become aware that a child under 14 years of age has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete that information. If you believe that a child under the age of 14 has provided us with personal information, please write to info@proddigia.com with the details and we will take the necessary steps to delete the information we hold about that child.
PROCESSING OF SPECIAL CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA AND PERSONAL DATA RELATING TO CRIMINAL CONVICTIONS AND OFFENCES
In the formalization of the free text fields, the introduction of personal information relating to personal data revealing ethnic or racial origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, and the processing of genetic data, biometric data aimed at identifying a child is not permitted. : data relating to the health or data relating to the sexual life or sexual orientation of a natural person, as well as personal data relating to criminal convictions and offences. If you enter any information relating to the aspects mentioned in any of our forms or via email, they will be immediately deleted from our information systems without being able to respond to the query made, since such data is neither necessary nor relevant for the purposes determined in the processing of this Website.
